Scotlands answer to route 66: the North Coast 500 is the ultimate highland tour. You'll travel through rugged terrain, beautiful valleys and endless coastal roads experiencing all the north has to offer.

The North Coast 500 begins and ends at Inverness Castle, following a circular routes that takes you all around the Scottish highlands. Traditionally the route is followed clockwise taking you west to Applecross, north to Durness, east to John o' Groats before heading south again back to Inverness. Along the way you'll experience some beautiful scenery, plenty of things to do and welcoming places to stay along the route.
